ICU Intensive Care Unit, with built in heating, nebulisation and oxygen (for all seriously ill pets). This unit is adjacent to the consulting area so critical animals may be continuously monitored.
	IMAGING Imaging room- complete with full radiographic facilities, automatic processing and ultrasound.
	DENTISTRY We have a high powered dental machine for dog and cat needs as well as rabbit & chinchilla dentistry procedures.
	SURGERY We have two well equipped surgical suites with anaesthetic monitoring and specialised exotic surgical equipment.
	LABORATORY The laboratory has facilities for urine testing, microscopy, haemotology and biochemistry.
We have constructed the hospital with great thought as we believe environment is very important to healing. All of the wards are arranged so the patients can be seen easily through the glass walls so we can monitor them frequently. We have different wards for different species:
	DOGS the noisy dogs are separate, and the cages are arranged so they cannot see each other which reduces their stress.
	CATS kept well away from the dogs.
	RODENTS, Rabbits & chinchillas have a separate quiet "cool room" to reduce their anxiety. They cannot see, hear or smell their predators.
	EXOTICS The "hot room" is for birds and reptiles, it is warm and quiet, situated well away from all the other animals and has specialised cages with heating, narrow bars, perches and appropriate lighting. We even have 3 swimming pools for our terrapins to swim in !
	ISOLATION well separated from other wards to reduce the risk of disease spread.
