We have spent a great deal of time and effort in ensuring that the products we sell meet the very highest of standards and have been recommended by veterinarians. In addition many of these products have been developed by companies which are owned and run by veterinarians. Our retail area caters to the husbandry and behavioural needs of the species that are dealt with each day in Tai Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital.

Many of the products available in the retail store are not available elsewhere in Hong Kong, having sourced and purchased from many overseas companies and manufacturers. Each species has their own dedicated area with products catering to their individual needs.

Rabbits and Chinchilla's - We have 3 main suppliers, Oxbow and American Pet Diner whose products cater for nutritional needs and The Willow Warren whose products cater for behavioural needs.

Oxbow products come from the US and were selected by our rabbit team who use the products with their own pets who enjoy the products. Besides feeding, Oxbow Eco Straw is also highly recommended as a substrate for any small animal use, including reptiles.
 
 
 

American Pet Diner is a US based company, who has their own farm to provide a range of hay based nutritional products for small rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.
 
 
 

West Willow products are purchased from the U.K, the company is run by a veterinary surgeon who herself specializes in exotic species, the willow is organically grown and made into fun and ideal destructible treats and toys for rabbits and chinchilla's alike. The willow tunnels and balls have proved extremely popular so far.

Birds - Taiwai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is the SOLE DISTRIBUTOR for Harrisons Organic Bird food in the region. Harrisons Organic Bird food has been recommended by exotic veterinarians for many years now and we are pleased to be able to offer a large and more varied range of the many nutritional products offered by Harrison's Bird foods. Staffs from Hong Kong Ocean Park also shop from our hospital.

We offer a range of bird toys which we have sourced from a highly recommended American company and are made with all natural fibres and materials.

Reptiles - Due to the ever increasing amount of reptiles that we see in our hospital we now stock many of the fixtures and fittings needed to set up an ideal terrarium or vivarium, nutritional supplements are also sold under veterinary advise. Reptoboost- product contains probiotic organisms, dextrose, maltodextrins and vitamin C and is ideal for rehydration and support of post hibernation anorexia.

Zolcal D- is a very useful product. It is a combination of liquid calcium and vitamin D3 and is ideal for any situation where you may wish to dose directly or dose the drinking water.

We also have other products from Vetark and will import some new products soon.

Exo Terra provide a range of reptile products. We have UVA+UVB lighting and heating equipments which are necessary for your reptile pets. We also have other equipment for your reptiles. 
 

Mazuri provide a range of products for exotic animals. Many zoo in the world are using their products for their animals.

Dogs and Cats - Last but by no means least out furry friends also have their own area, dedicated to their nutritional and behavioural needs. We have some fabulous leads and collars, bean bag beds and a varied range of Kong Products.
