About Dr. Erika Vernia

Erika graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2005 from the University of Milan and then worked as a Veterinary Surgeon in Italy before moving to the UK where she continued her professional development and was promoted in 2015 to the role of Senior Veterinary Surgeon. In 2020, Erika moved to Hong Kong to fulfil her desire of managing a veterinary team and has become the Hospital Director here at Tai Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital. She will work with the team to maximise efficiency and promote the best customer service, whilst keeping the care of our patients at our utmost priority. 

Outside of work, she is exploring the different neighbourhoods of Hong Kong with her husband. They are big food fans and are excited to try some of the different authentic Asian cuisines you can get here. So far, she has loved trying different local dishes and street food. She is really looking forward to overseeing the educational advancement of all the team at Tai Wai and hopes that they can all grow together.
