About Dr. Matt Siddle

Dr. Matt graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2016. As a student, he gained experience working at both Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland and Dallas Zoo in the USA. After that, Matt spent three years working with small animals and exotic pets as well as farm animals, while he completed his Exotic Certificate. Following his passion for exotic animals, he then moved to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada where he completed an exotic and wildlife internship. While in Canada he was able to work with a variety of wildlife ranging from eagles to bears. During this time Dr. Matt published an article about removing a gallbladder from a Bearded Dragon – a very unusual surgery!

Dr. Matt is excited to be in Hong Kong and to explore all the different cultures and aspects of life here. As he said, "the weirder the better!" 

He has no fear of what sort of new things or experiences he might encounter!
