About Shania

Shania joined us in 2021 as she believed that all animals deserve to be treated with a high level of care and compassion and she wanted to be someone who could help them.  Before joining the Tai Wai Team she had been volunteering with different animal charity organizations. At that time her full-time job was exciting as it involved driving yachts and speedboats, but she chose to follow her passion and become a trainee Vet Assistant. 

Shania adopted her 1st cat when she was 5, currently, she has 2 adopted kittens and a Guinea Pig. She is thrilled that now she can work as a veterinary assistant, a meaningful job that she really enjoys as she gets to learn and work with all the different species that she sees in the hospital. 

In her leisure time, she stays active playing squash a few times a week, kickboxing and bouldering, and also wakeboarding even during wintertime.
